About Sean
I am a piano tutor with 10 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition with a Piano Emphasis. I am also a composer and performer who believes music is a lifelong journey of learning and discovery. I enjoy helping students explore creativity and develop their own musical voice.
My teaching focuses on composition, improvisation, harmony, theory, and piano performance. I help students create unique improvisational pieces and develop spontaneous composition skills through practical exercises. I believe every musician can discover new ideas when they understand the connection between technique and creativity.
I work with beginners who are building their musical foundation and advanced musicians who want to expand their creative skills. My lessons encourage students to experiment with melodies, harmonies, and different musical structures. One student developed confidence in composing after learning how to transform simple ideas into complete piano pieces.
I enjoy guiding students through their personal musical journey and helping them achieve their creative goals. My aim is to create a positive space where musicians feel inspired to explore, create, and perform with confidence.

My piano lessons focus on helping students develop creativity, musical understanding, and confidence in creating their own music. I teach songwriting for piano, composing melodies and harmonies, creating intros and outros, and developing strong musical themes. Each lesson combines structured learning with creative exploration so students can turn ideas into complete pieces.
I guide students in understanding how chords, melodies, and rhythms work together to create meaningful music. Improvisation exercises help students develop spontaneous ideas and discover their own musical voice. I support learners who want to express emotions through music and create original compositions with purpose.
Students learn how to organize their ideas, build song structures, and develop unique musical concepts. I use practical examples from different styles to show how composers create memorable pieces. One student who started with simple melodies was able to create a complete piano arrangement after learning these techniques.
My approach encourages creativity while maintaining a clear learning path. I help students develop the skills needed to compose, perform, and continue creating music throughout their journey. My goal is to help every learner build confidence and create music that represents their own artistic identity.
