About Wilson
I am a dedicated piano and music tutor with over 25 years of teaching experience, Bachelor of Art (Music), Professional Diploma in Performing Arts - Music and Performer's Diploma in piano performance (Trinity College London), along with a certificate in music therapy. As a father of two, I also teach my own children music and piano, understanding firsthand how music is a powerful tool to balance academic stress and bring positivity and joy into life. I believe every student is unique, so I tailor my lessons to fit their individual needs and goals. My passion is not only to develop musical skills but also to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music. Teaching music allows me to connect with learners of all ages—including children, teens, adults, and SEN students—in a supportive and encouraging environment. I’m committed to professionalism, clear communication, and making learning enjoyable, helping students express themselves and grow both musically and personally.

I offer fun, structured, and student-centred lessons tailored to each learner’s goals and abilities. With 25+ years’ experience teaching children, teens, adults, and SEN learners, I combine classical training (ATCL), music therapy techniques, and creative methods to build confidence and musicality. Lessons typically run 30 to 60 minutes and can include piano, music theory, singing, and performance coaching. I teach beginners to advanced levels, preparing students for ABRSM/Trinity exams or simply for personal enjoyment—online or in-person, in English, Cantonese, or Mandarin.
