After leaving industry to retrain as a teacher, I have developed wide experience of mathematical private tuition assignments. I can prepare students for particular examinations, or the skills they need for the classroom or workplace.
I believe that all students learn differently and adapt my lessons to the individual needs of the student. I believe that students learn best through scaffolding - learning by example - and so adopt the modelling teaching strategy. I also adopt a multi-sensory approach to teaching.
I use the ‘Yamaha Technique’ alongside ‘A Common Approach’ to ensure students get more from lessons other than just learning how to play songs. I cover multiple music styles with a large repertoire, knowlege and awareness of syllabi to draw upon.
I'm quite a relaxed mentor and can teach at any skill level. I will mainly focus on sentence structure, oral expression, and comprehension during the lessons, as I believe that vocabulary is best learned and absorbed individually. My aim is to help you to see Spanish as more of a way of thinking and expressing yourself than just words put together.
I will tutor anyone up to A-Level age, regardless of ability. My priority is in boosting a student's confidence and helping them to develop their skills - it's more than exams (although of course we'll work on those skills if desired), it's about sustainable learning that truly prepares you for the future.
Friendly university student able to offer geography tuition at GCSE or A-Level, will look to identify specific areas of weakness and break them down, offering helpful techniques of improving ability and knowledge. I go on the basis that with creativity then everything is possible! And I encourage students to create their own worlds to explore, with me acting as guide and influencer. You can do anything with words. Exploring creativity and creative thinking. Writing is serious, but the best way to do it is in a creative, fun way.
I see removing any barriers to learning and meeting individual needs (for both pupils and teachers) as integral to the job.
My method of teaching involves covering a particular topic and then practicing questions on that topic to make sure the student has a thorough understanding of the topic. Past papers will also be a very important tool to understand the students progress.
After my friends were able to crack various entrance exams thereby giving me confidence that i could actually help masses to grasp mathematics in a different and more conceptual way making learning a fun experience for my mentees.

My teaching methodology differs for each student. I approach my lessons very student-oriented. I first learn what my student’s strengths and weaknesses are and then which teaching method works best for them eg. A tutorial through a topic or guided past paper questions or question and answer etc. My typical lesson plan would be based on a student request eg. Respiration.
You can expect fun and engaging sessions that are aimed at making sure my students get the most out of the lesson. I will always put 100% into my lessons and look forward to helping students get the most out of their education.

My motto is to provide my student with what they need to learn and what they want to learn in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
My teaching method is to test students by asking about what they’ve covered in school and to conduct informal quizzes so I can customise the lessons I give according to their ability. I tend to focus on one grammar point a week, followed by some conversation/ question practise and then set a brief ‘homework’ of learning so the knowledge can be consolidated the next week.
I’m more of a visual learner myself, however I think it’s important to know what kind of learner the student is in order to maximise their learning
I am more than happy to tailor my classes to the required exam spec, just let me know what you need to learn and I can help!
I teach from scratch and follow to do list and teach topic by topic with enough practice.
