About Harsimar
I am a dedicated primary-level educator currently completing my Master of Teaching and Learning (Primary) in New Zealand. I bring a strong foundation in teaching through both local primary school experience, including a six-week placement in New Zealand, and several years of teaching experience in my home country, where I worked closely with children across different age groups and learning levels.
I chose teaching because I genuinely enjoy helping children grow in confidence, curiosity, and understanding. I believe every child learns differently, and my role as a teacher is to recognize those differences and support each learner with patience, care, and clear guidance. My teaching style is professional, organized, and student-focused, with lessons carefully planned to suit individual needs while aligning with the New Zealand Curriculum.
I am committed, reliable, and passionate about creating a safe and positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and succeed at their own pace. Through private tutoring, I aim to provide personalized support that helps students build strong foundations and a love for learning.

I am a student teacher currently completing my Master of Teaching and Learning (Primary) in New Zealand, with practical experience including a six-week placement at a local primary school and prior teaching experience in my home country. I offer private lessons in English and all primary subjects for junior and primary-level students.
My teaching approach is child-centred, supportive, and aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum, focusing on building confidence, understanding, and independence. Lessons are planned according to each child’s learning needs, pace, and goals, using clear explanations, interactive activities, and positive encouragement.
A typical lesson lasts 45–50 minutes, with the option to extend up to one hour depending on the student’s learning speed and level of support required. I am patient, flexible, and committed to adapting lessons to help every learner feel comfortable, motivated, and capable.
