About Aimen
I’m an experienced tutor with over 2.5 years of experience working at a tuition centre, teaching and supporting students across English and Maths. During this time, I have worked with children from KS1 all the way up to GCSE level, giving me experience with a wide range of ages and abilities.
I have taught students from many different backgrounds, including children who require additional support and students with special educational needs. I understand that every child learns differently, so I adapt my explanations and teaching style depending on the individual student.
I’m also currently a university student in London. My aim is to create a supportive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and gradually becoming more confident and independent in English.

My 1-hour KS1 and KS2 English lessons are built around over 2.5 years of tutoring experience, during which I have supported students from KS1 through to GCSE level, including children from different backgrounds, ability levels and those with additional learning needs.
I create my own structured lessons and resources, aligned with the England National Curriculum, covering areas such as reading, comprehension, spelling, grammar, vocabulary and writing. Each lesson includes a clear explanation of the topic, examples, guided activities and independent practice so I can check that the student has genuinely understood what they are learning.
I also provide homework after lessons to reinforce the skills we have covered and encourage independent practice between sessions. My resources progress from easier activities to more challenging tasks, and I adapt each lesson to the child’s current level, confidence and individual areas for improvement.
