About Elizabeth
My school teaching career lasted more than 40 years. I have taught in Glasgow, Edinburgh and West Lothian schools. My experience spans all primary classes and all primary subjects. Latterly, I was a Support for Learning teacher and attended courses in Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Asperger's Syndrome. Parents and pupils have all appreciated the hard work and dedication I bring to my teaching. I have been complimented many times on my teaching style by my pupils' parents.

I have extensive experience in tutoring pupils aged 5 to 12 years. Enthusiastic and engaging, I take a close interest in each student and tailor my lessons to meet their individual needs and interests. I travel to the student's home and am available Mon to Fri (except Tues) during after school hours. My lessons cover all aspects of the Curriculum for Excellence currently used in Scottish schools. I believe I am an empathetic teacher and will accommodate the individual student's strengths and weaknesses during my lessons.
