About Angela
I attended St Martin's summer school and the Open University where I studied Humanities and I completed CPD courses with The British School of Interior Design in colour psychology. I have exhibited at the Royal Academy of Art, The Royal West Academy and The Royal Watercolour Society. I have over 20 years' experience in art and 15 years giving art workshops and running art classes. I and I like to offer my teaching and experience to help other people. I am very patient and I have a helpful approach in my teaching. I have experience teaching all abilities and age groups.

I have a proactive, enthusiastic and innovative approach to teaching and I offer encouragement to all my students and all subjects and mediums are covered for all abilities. Each lesson is bespoke to the specific needs of the student. I have tutored online with Zoom and one-to-one lessons in small groups in person and with all ages and abilities. I have two styles of teaching. Each lesson a new topic or subject is introduced and covered and then a new topic will be introduced when the student is ready and build up a body of work. I can also be more flexible in my teaching to the specific needs of a student, if for example a student needs help with a particular subject or for an exam. I like to set homework so that the student will keep the motivation and use what they have learnt and be ready for their next lesson. I also offer advice on mediums to use. I cover all subject matters including portraiture, life model, landscapes, animals, flowers and nature and collage and all mediums and techniques, acrylic, watercolour, oil, pastels, crayons, ink, charcoal and pencil. I can also teach and give examples to students for research of famous artists for inspiration and how to apply these techniques which is very popular. I also have knowledge of exam boards with extensive research if required. I teach art for pleasure, relaxation or exam preparation or portfolio.
The needs of the student are the focus of the lessons and incorporated with my own knowledge and teaching techniques.
