About Olivia
Hi! I'm Olivia, a professional singer and vocal coach based in Southsea, Portsmouth, offering fun and encouraging singing lessons for ages 4+.
I help young singers build confidence, develop their vocal skills and discover their voice in a relaxed environment.
As an experienced performer with over a decade of vocal training and a university background in Drama, I bring real-world performance experience to every lesson. Whether your child simply loves to sing, wants to gain confidence, or dreams of performing on stage, lessons are tailored to their age, interests and goals.
Alongside teaching, I am also available for live performances at weddings, musical theatre events, restaurants and private functions with personalised song repertoires.

My singing lessons were the highlight of my week growing up - they helped build my confidence hugely. That’s why I’m so excited to give other children the chance to discover their voice from a young age.
One of the most valuable parts of my training was having a safe, one-to-one space to sing. Performing can feel daunting in front of peers or family members due to the added pressure (I still feel this now!), so learning in a relaxed environment helps children come out their shell, overcome shyness and build self-esteem.
Singing lessons do more than improve a child’s voice. They build confidence, social skills, and emotional expression, while strengthening communication through pronunciation. Singing can also support maths skills through rhythm and patterns, and improve listening, memory, and focus by developing auditory processing, all in a natural way.
In my lessons, children are encouraged to explore their voice creatively through storytelling and emotion, prompting imagination, while also developing key techniques such as breath control, posture, and vocal strength. This also encourages relaxation and emotional regulation building techniques proven to be helpful in other areas of life. Most importantly, my aim is always to keep lessons fun, relaxed, and pressure-free because that’s where real progress happens - believe me! :)
With over a decade of training, full marks in my songs on my final exam, performance experience, and teaching at a drama school, I’ve developed skills I want to share. Whether it’s building confidence, preparing for auditions/exams, or simply enjoying a weekly sing, my lessons are all about helping each child grow.
