About Charlotte
I have over 5 years of experience teaching singing and hold a Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance. I enjoy helping adult beginners, hobby singers, and people returning to singing after a long break. My lessons are relaxed, encouraging, and free from unnecessary pressure.
I focus on breathwork, vocal relaxation, posture, mindfulness, and tone development because these skills help every singer feel more comfortable. I have seen students who were nervous at their first lesson later enjoy singing confidently at community choir events and karaoke nights. Those moments remind me that steady progress matters more than perfection.
I teach Jazz, Folk, Blues, Contemporary Adult, and other styles based on each student's interests. Every lesson is adjusted to match personal goals and comfort levels. I believe singing is a wonderful way to reduce stress, express emotions, and build confidence.
My goal is to help every student enjoy music without fear of making mistakes. Whether you are starting for the first time or finding your voice again after many years, you are always welcome. Let's begin or restart your singing journey together at any age, simply for the joy of singing.

My singing lessons focus on building vocal control while helping every student enjoy the learning process. I teach vocal agility through simple exercises that improve flexibility and confidence. We practice runs, riffs, melisma, and complex vocal passages step by step.
I also cover breath support, tone placement, pitch accuracy, rhythm, vocal phrasing, and performance skills. Every lesson is planned to develop vocal dexterity without making students feel overwhelmed. I once worked with a student who struggled with quick vocal runs, and steady daily practice helped them sing them smoothly.
I enjoy supporting learners who sing in small vocal groups and those with a background in string music who want stronger vocal expression. I prepare them carefully for intricate vocal embellishments through focused listening and repeated practice. This helps them perform challenging passages with greater ease.
I encourage students to explore different styles while building healthy vocal habits. We celebrate small improvements because they lead to lasting confidence. With patience and regular practice, you will sing with effortless grace and greater control.
