About Matthew
I was born and raised in France of American parents. I came to the US to study languages in college and have stayed here ever since, teaching languages and social studies for over 20 years now. I am an adjunct college professor as well as a department head at a local international High School.

I am flexible, creative, attentive and know how to get the best of my students. Some seek a challenge and others want a cool, fun environment. Either way I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
I love to get to know some things about my students so we can connect you to your lessons. We speak up-to-date Spanish or French in each lesson, but I also like to teach the basics of grammar and syntax, while also focusing on reading. I also recommend supplementing with some TV shows, music, and online help. If you are doing only 1 hr/day, you are not going to learn the language as quickly!
