About Lindsay
I am a Ph.D student studying Applied Linguistics. I have taught Spanish for 3 years. I taught 2 years as a part-time graduate assistant for the University of Memphis and a year as a middle/high-school Spanish teacher. My undergraduate degree is in English and Spanish and my M.A. is in Spanish and Portuguese.

I use a communicative style of teaching and make sure to embed culture in each lesson. I believe that fluency is a process and that anyone is capable of succeeding in a foreign language. I focus on the 4 competencies of speaking, listening, reading and writing. I adhere closely to ACTFL standards.
