About Paola
My name is Andrea, I am from Colombia, I have been teaching Spanish as a second language for 2 years now before I was teaching kids in a school for a year, but I got a job in an academy for teaching Spanish to foreigners. I decided to start teaching by myself one year ago. I have a college degree in teaching Spanish and philosophy. I really like teaching, and when I have a new student, we work together to see what method is better for her or him.

My lesson plan usually follows the common European framework for the teaching of the Spanish language, but I am also able to customize it to fit my student's individual needs. For example, if you are a doctor who needs to improve her or his medical vocabulary, we can adjust the learning activities to include medical terms and their equivalents in Spanish. I teach online via Skype or Zoom.
My default recommendation is usually one hour of grammar and another hour of conversation, but again that is entirely flexible based on your own goals.
