Chelsea is my daughter. I’ve had the opportunity to see her in her classroom when making her first connection with her students and witnessed her ability to put students and parents at ease while showing her caring nature. Chelsea has shared with me her interactions with her students in class and those she’s tutored, the steps she took to ensure they met their education goals, and the pathway she laid out for the students to interact with each other with respect and kindness. She sets expectations and goals for herself and for her students and works hard to meet them. When Chelsea tutored, she met with the parents to find out their goals for the tutoring sessions and if there were any teaching methods that best worked with their child. She provided progress reports to the parents and welcomed feedback. Chelsea would make a great member of a tutoring team due to her passion for student education.
