About Eliza
Throughout my musical life, I have been very lucky to have had teachers who were encouraging and supportive, inspiring and maintaining a love of the instrument that has now become my job. Alongside a varied performance schedule, I aim to share this enthusiasm with my students, and particularly enjoy working with children and young people to build an overall musicianship that enables music to be a fulfilling part of their lives for years to come.

I have been teaching for a music school and privately over the past four years, working with students from the very start, up to advanced levels. I work on the basis that music making is for everyone, and keep my teaching methods fun and engaging; adapting to the age and level of the student. I focus on building a solid technique and producing a beautiful sound, that enables students to learn the music that they love and want to play. Although I am classically trained, I now perform across genres including pop, theatre and folk/traditional music, and am happy to work on these styles with students too! I can offer lessons in lengths of 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or an hour. I can offer lessons in students' homes, within a reasonable travel distance.
