About Joshua
I have been playing the violin for over 23 years. I have played as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral musician across the UK, Europe and Australia, in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and the Symphony Hall.
I have been teaching students for well over twelve years, both privately and in schools across the city of Birmingham. I am also an experienced ensemble coach and youth orchestra tutor. My students have fantastic success in examinations and auditions.
I have studied violin performance at undergraduate and postgraduate level at the Royal Northern College Of Music and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

Bespoke 1-1 teaching that caters to the individual student. My teaching has a focus on building a high level of technique which includes scales, studies and exercises, alongside the study of challenging and exciting repertoire.
All of my students receive a weekly practice plan to keep them focus and progress. My aim is to give all of my students the technical ability to progress with consistency and learn beautiful music. I prepare all of my students thoroughly for auditions, competitions and examinations.
