About Nur
My name is Ireen, and I am a TESL trainee teacher with a strong passion for helping students improve their English in a clear and enjoyable way.
I have been trained in modern teaching methods and focus on creating lessons that are engaging, structured, and easy to understand. I believe that every student learns differently, so I always adapt my teaching style to suit their pace and needs. My goal is to build not only students’ skills, but also their confidence in using English.
I am especially experienced in teaching primary school learners, with a focus on reading, phonics, and basic grammar. I enjoy designing creative materials and interactive activities that make learning more effective and less stressful.

I believe learning English should feel engaging, meaningful, and not like something students are forced to memorize. My teaching approach focuses on building understanding step-by-step while keeping lessons interactive and student-centered.
I use a mix of techniques such as guided practice, questioning strategies, and game-based learning to help students stay active during lessons. I also integrate phonics, reading strategies (like skimming and scanning), and simple grammar support to strengthen both accuracy and confidence. For younger learners especially, I include visuals, storytelling, and fun activities to maintain attention and make learning enjoyable.
Each lesson is usually 60 minutes, depending on the student’s needs. A typical lesson includes a short warm-up, guided teaching, practice activities, and a quick recap to reinforce what has been learned.
As a TESL trainee teacher, I am trained in modern teaching methodologies and understand how to adapt lessons based on different learning styles and levels. I have experience designing engaging materials and activities, especially for primary school learners, and I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable to try, make mistakes, and improve.
