About Matthew
Tutoring experience: I have tutored/mentored GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate students, and have recieved training in early-years philosophy education. I have worked as an editor up to and including doctoral standard.
Academic experience: I am a postgraduate student in Philosophy with a strong first-class BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Durham University. I have also been a visiting student at a number of other world-top 100 institutions including Uppsala University, Humboldt University, and KU Leuven.

I can offer two kinds of tuition:
- The first focuses on complimenting an existing course of study, such as A-Level Government and Politics. This tuition has two aims. First, to deepen and broaden the students understanding of the content of their course of study. Second, to develop skills relevant to the subject, such as essay writing.
- The second kind of tuition is for UCAS applications and university interviews. Again, there are two goals for this tuition. First, to help the tutee develop a clear understanding of university-level study in a subject. Second, to ensure that a student's interest, competence, and potential in a subject gets across in applications and/or interviews.
