About Richard

Learn to love winning.

Burgos Baseball is now offering lessons for ball players, all ages, looking to step there game up on the diamond. I remember being that age. I started getting private lessons when I was a freshman in high school but I fell in love with the game way before that. I wanted an edge against my peers at a young age. Winning felt good and I wanted to do a lot of it. 8 to 10 years old is when competitive sports become important to young athletes. You’ll start to notice your child bring those tough losses home like a bad day at work. The baseball players sticks together at school. 📚⚾️

Give him those reps with a someone who can focus on his game and only his game. It makes a difference. If you’ve noticed your son has taken a liking to the game and want him stepping on that field in his tournaments with a plan then reach out to us. I’m just getting started and I love working with the kids. They teach me just as much as I teach them. I have a really cool team of trainers including myself that can’t wait to meet your son. Our goal is to teach your child to love to learn. We want the kids to start having an understanding of the game. Baseball is hard but it’s fun. You will always be learning playing baseball. You have to get used to it and if he’s having fun, he’s going to learn. 💯 So we make it fun. I’m at Archie Gordon Park in Buenaventura Lakes 4pm-6pm / Book a session! Inbox for more info. 🏆🧗‍♂️

Baseball players are constantly challenged. I know all about those head scratching moments. As soon as you think you got it, there's an adjustment needed. I love communicating with ball players and helping them attack those challenges so when they get on the field they play with confidence.

I've been playing baseball for over 35 years. Teammates insisted I pass on my passion for the game onto others. I love the game, love the science and I love kids.

Hello! My name is Richard Burgos. I've been playing baseball since I can remember. From travel ball to high school, Lake Sumpter State College, and organized ball ever since, it seems like I've lived my life on a baseball field. From as far north as New York all the way down to Puerto Rico and everywhere in between I've played dedicated my life to this game. I currently manage the Central Florida Reds Men's Baseball Club in Kissimmee/Orlando and I am a current board member of the Orlando Baseball Association specializing in player/ league exposure. I am the president and founder Burgos Baseball. I wake up with this game on my mind and take it to sleep with me. It's the best game in the world.

Typically we like to keep the first work out well rounded and fun to evaluate where the child is.
Gaging the students skill level allows the trainer to create a player specific program designed to improve the players performance when competing.

All types. Professional ballplayers, little leaguers, high school, travel ball, college. I'm confident and comfortable in any baseball setting. I enjoy working with anyone looking to step up their game. If the love for the game is there, I can teach it.

Baseball is not seasonal. It's something you work at all year long. You have to be consistent to get the mechanics to click.
