About Zach

I offer detailed, personal, and fact based lessons - specializing in pitching but can definitley help hitters as well. I record every lesson and analyze mechanics on the mound and at the plate in order to visualize excatly what you might need to improve on or what you're doing well.

I also offer strength training - Optimizing your workouts in order to add speed, velocity, and power. Working on mobility and strength are very important, a long with proper nutrition, an athlete should be atleast 1.5 times their height (in inches) in bodyweight to optimize acceleration and power.

I've played the game for 20 years, 2+ years of coaching experience and 1-2 years of group lessons. I have college experience playing at Nichols College and am currently an Umpire with the Greater New Haven Umpire Association.

In addition, I am currently a member of the CT Siege coaching staff out of Shelton, CT - coaching 9u and 11u thusfar.

I look forward to working with you!

Baseball has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember and I love sharing my knowlegde to help young players.

I would help out my pitching coach in high school with his lessons and had a lot of fun doing so. In college, I played at Nichols College, where I also analyzed practice film and mechanics with myself and my teammates.

First, we need to get some videos at different angles to see exacty what's going on with your mechanics. From there we can pinpoint any weak spots and go from there - working on drills to correct such issues. Video recordining every step is very important since even the smallest thing can alter your mechanics!
