About Malik
While it is important that i develop the skills of those that i work with. I also believe that it is important that i help instill them with self confidence, self discipline and teach them to hold themselves accountable. These things will help them become a solid basketball player but a magnificent person. And nothing gives me more joy than seeing the young people i work with become great.
I love basketball always have always will. Some of my fondest memories are involve basketball. All of the closest friends i met through basketball. My grandparents met because of basketball i feel as though if basketball didn't exist i might not either.
Basketball gives me joy that nothing else ever has so if i can help someone else grow then i feel obligated to do just that.
I've been playing organized basketball for 20+ years. And I've had a basketball a my hand even longer than that.
