About Riann
I am a HS and MS volleyball and basketball coach with 20 years experience. I’m fun and personal and play both sports myself. I like to instill the love of the game and knowledge of the sport into my players.
My grandpa and dad were both HS basketball coaches when i was growing up. My uncle was a D1 baseball coach, it’s kind of just been instilled in me. :)
I am a 4th grade teacher in the Shawnee Mission Shool District. I coach HS vball and MS basketball but have experience at all levels in both sports. I played in college (and still to this day) and I know both games well.

I like to get to know my players and find out what they’d like to work on and their goals. I like to look at form and see if there are small tweaks we can make. I like to assess skill level right away so that by the time we’re done working, we can see the improvements made.
2nd grade through high school in both volleyball and basketball
Find someone that you can relate to and that takes the time to get to know you.
