I would say, basketball is fun and it is a game that takes hard work, diligence, and commitment. If you love it then enjoy it. Never treat it like a job and remember that basketball is not your identity. Jesus is who defines you, gives you identity, and ultimately brings you purpose and fulfillment in your life.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Am I wanting to play basketball just to learn and have fun or is this something I want to put a lot of time and hard work into?
Am I ready to learn and grow as a basketball player and as a person?
Am I ready to be pushed past my limits in order to grow?
