About Deborah

Belly a Dancing is a fun and creative way to exercise and express yourself. It builds all muscle groups, with the focuses on the core, legs and back muscles.

I have been dancing for over 30 years and teaching for 6 years. I have been a member of The Queens Of The Universe Dance Troupe for the past 12 years. (Queensoftheuniverse.com)

The class is open to all students 15 to 99, all shapes and sizes and skill levels.

I started teaching because I love the dance and want to share it with others.

I have a masters degree in education and have taught dance for the past 6 years.

About the lesson

New students join the class and are taught the basic steps and movements associated with the dance form. I teach American Cabaret Style of Belly Dance.

All ages from 15 to 65. Students with handicaps and injuries. All skill levels from absolutely no dancing lessons to seasoned dancers.

My dance troupe was recently asked to dance for the Colonial Heights city festival.
