About Mark
Hi. I'm Mark.
I've trained over the years in
Martial Arts/Boxing/Kickboxing.
During a recent 6 month stay in China , I had some training at Kunyu Mountain Martial Arts Academy in Yantai City , Kunyushan District ,Shondong Province ,China.
Shondong Guo Shi Wing Chun Kung Fu.
I Then taught English and Martial Arts to children in Yantai City, China
Upon returning from China I worked as a Lead Trainer at 9Round 30Min Kickboxing Fitness in Apple Valley from July-October 2017 and I enjoyed it Very Much with my Back ground in boxing and Kickboxing.
I like a 1 on 1 approach in teaching.
Giving each student my full attention helps students absorb faster and helps me become a better teacher.
I will do small classes as well.
I really enjoy sharing training methods to interested parties. I Love to teach and witness students Rise in Confidence, Improve Fighting Skills, and Reach Fitness Goals.
I began my Martial Arts Journey learning some Kali a Filipino Martial Art, under Sifu/Guru Richard Lamoureux of CDF & Vegas Combatives, along with Boxing/Kickboxing.
While serving in the U.S. ARMY, I was able to train with many Soldiers of different Martial Arts Backgrounds.
Years later when UFC was becoming very popular, I returned to training but this time with more of an MMA curriculum, under Eugene Calderon(Martial Artist, MMA Trainer) and Miguel Torres(Trainer, former WEC Champ & UFC fighter.)
After a hiatus, I new it was time to train again seriously so I found an Awesome Wing Chun school under Sifu Jeff Williams , Mid West Wing Chun, Hammond Indiana.
Sifu Jeff Williams received an Inheritor Certificate and Master Certificate from Master Xinmin Guo of Kunyu Mountain Martial Arts Academy in China.
I myself ventured to Kunyu in December of 2016 and I look forward to going back for more training.
