About Jay
Hi I'm Jay! I have been teaching in some way ever since I can remember. I'm currently a District Manager where I teach every day to many different people. I don't believe there is a "One size fits all" approach that works. I prefer to understand where my student has been, where they are, and where they want to go, in order to develop a plan.
For me there is nothing better than seeing someone tap into potential that they may or may not they have. Watching someone have that "Aha" moment and have that feeling of accomplishment is why I teach.
My father was a teacher, so growing up I was always interested in what he was doing. As I grew up, I started tutoring kids and teaching everyone around me anything I could.
I have practical experience working in the business field and being successful.

So Jay tutored me for about half a semester in English. I was doing really poor with writing, after being tutored I ended up passing. Jay gave me strong feedback in my writing and would always review my work with me. Jay would do a final review for all my essays before I submitted them. I loved being able to have someone work with me to improve my writing and care about what I was submitting.
The way Jay worked with my needs and made sure that I always understood the materials. Jay seemed like he always had my goals in mind when teaching me.
