About Yong-Ju
Experienced biology and chemistry teacher who simplifies advanced science concepts with a sense of humor.
I enjoy working with students and learning about their backgrounds outside of academics. My priority is building a relationship with a client that will allow them to understand complicated science topics.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior and a Masters in Arts of Teaching Biology Secondary Education. I have several years of experience as a high school biology and chemistry teacher with private tutoring experience.

When first working with a new student, I am open, friendly, and accepting. I ensure to have a comforting presence with a student so they are comfortable working with me. I like to keep an open dialogue between the student and me so the student can ask questions. If possible, I like to connect with the student's teacher as well to get an idea of the expectations.
