About Anoushka
In high school, I took all subjects offered to me while starting my career as a professional musician. I have excellent time management skills, and also did a lot of Indian Classical Dance growing up. In college, I was a double major in Clarinet Performance, and Music Education, with a minor in French. Throughout high school and college, I tutored in the subjects of Music Theory, Math, and French. I've worked with students from the ages of 4 to undergraduates in college. Additionally, I did a lot of mentorship in my college degree, helping students figure out their career paths, both in music and outside of music. My unique experience as a Resident Assistant also allowed me to work with business students, and students across majors, helping them through their freshman year of high school. I am very familiar with the school system as a teacher as well, having spent over 175 hours in the classroom, both music, and other, prior to my student teaching semester.
I love teaching, and working with students! I am a certified teacher in music, with a French minor, and also have tutored math, and career advice! I love helping students learn, and helping them take control of their learning.

I work with students on the individual level. I am a very student-centered teacher, and I start by learning what each indidual students needs are. I proceed to help students discover techniques that best help them learn. I am a hands-on teacher, and am good at working with students who prefer different ways of learning. Additionally, I teach students how to advocate for themselves, so they have the skills to continue on with their learning on their own.
