About Christopher
If you are looking for a tutor to help your student pass a test, I am not your guy. I am looking for students who want to learn to become better students, problem solvers, and learn skills that transcend a quarterly exam!
I have been tutoring at all grade levels from 2nd up through high school AP and college for the last 6 years. I am passionate about helping mentor students to unlock their potential.
I am an Engineer by trade, but in school, I studied computer science with a heavy concentration in math. I like math and I love you teach computer programming, software dev, etc.
I love to see the lightbulb go off! When something clicks for a student it means they are one step closer to mastering their education. The skills and confidence they learn will be useful beyond our time together.
BS Computer Science from Randolph-Macon College
Currently working as an Engineer, applying data analysis, math, and the scientific process on a daily basic.

I like to meet with the student and if applicable the student and the parent first for a free 30-minute session to determine if I am the right person to coach the student to success. If not I will try my best to point you in the right direction, I do not want to selfishly take away from the student's education, just so I can have another student on my roster if I am not suited to help them best.
