About Sherrell
1Lovelydancer,LLC is a dance program designed to empower and uplift youth and women. Offering individual private and group classes specialized to meet the needs of the client. Offering women's heels class to channel your inner Boss power! Classes will leave you inspired and confident in all areas of your life.
I have a BFA in dance and over 20 years of performance and dance teaching experience. Former NFL cheerleader and child musical tour dancer and dance captain.
Currently in NYC! Also offering an empowering beginner heels confidence booster class.
I enjoy creating an experience that attendees take with them after the session. If you are taking my Heels class you are certain to walk into your next meeting or outing with friends as a strut in a heel.
If you are a student you are certain to leave with tools and techniques to continue becoming a better dancer. You will also gain leadership development and teamwork skills as an individual and as a class working together.
Early years training from Ballet Met Columbus. Graduated with BFA in Dance from The Ohio State University. Former training with former Alvin Ailey Dance company member April Berry. Completed the Professional Dance Semester at Broadway Dance Center in NYC.

Sherrell is an amazing dancer, choreographer, and human being. Unapologetically fierce, and vocal about the strong suits of others — when teaching, she leads by example, and never misses a chance to compliment others. Working with her one on one (during private lesson, or on choreography for music video) she pushed me to do better, while also encouraging me to recognize and accentuate positive attributes I didn't even see in myself. Can’t wait to see whats up next for this queen!
If you want a safe, supportive environment to learn new dance skills and improve your confidence, I definitely recommend this class. Sherrell is an amazing, experienced instructor who is patient, kind and encouraging. I was nervous about this class because I haven’t danced in a while but within minutes, she made me feel comfortable and welcomed. I will definitely take another class in the near future.
