About Maryssa
Training numerous local dancers in the studio that me and my best friend created, while continuing my training with highly reputable teachers/choreographers both locally and nationally. I am on a pro-cheer dance team to expand my knowledge.
I strive to create an inclusive, safe space for every dancer who steps into my studio. I push each student to be the best dancer and person, not limiting my teaching and knowledge to just the dance floor.
I started at a local dance studio with recreational jazz students, and have grown to directing our Ambassador competition team - winning overalls, special awards, and scholarship invites for my work.
Years of training with local studios in many different styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Tumbling, Contemporary/Modern, Lyrical, Strength & Conditioning, Technique, Stretching and Flexibility training.

Learning the individual as a person and dancer, reviewing basic skills to lesson plan around current skills and desired skills, and create a safe space for student to learn and grow at their own pace.
Ages 18 months to adults. Recreational to competition. Experience with people with intellectual disabilities.
