About Taylor
I have over 20 years of formal studio training in various styles such as: Acro, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Tap, Musical Theater, Modern, and Hip Hop. I’ve danced at both, a collegiate and professional level. I’m beginning my 9th year of teaching (dance) and have worked with students of many different ages and skill levels.

When working with new students, I typically like to find out the main goal behind their inquiry. The more I know about what the student expects to gain out of the lesson(s), the better I’m able to personalize my instruction to fit their expectations.
Do your research. Make sure your teacher has some experience in teaching, not just dancing.
Be upfront and specific with what you are wanting to gain from your lessons.
Make sure you are comfortable with your teacher. If they make you feel insecure, find a new teacher.
