About Ameena
Ameena Abdullah is an artist and designer from Atlanta, GA. She specializes in vibrant, imaginative landscapes and portraits. After graduating from Albany State University, she taught visual art for two years in Dougherty county, the same district as her alma mater.
I received a Bachelors of Arts, visual and performing arts specializing in visual arts, from Albany State University. I taught visual arts for a high school in Dougherty County school system as well as managed a paint and sip studio for 2+ years.

When working with a new student, I like to spend time getting to know them and their interests. I want to know what their goals are for learning more about the world of art. Once we have an understanding, we figure out where their skill levels are by practicing some essential exercises such as color theory experiments and exploring the elements and principles of art.
