About Lynda
I am an artist and educator with over 35 years of experience integrating art with education, community development, intervention and counseling.
I own Lynda Tuttle’s Art Center and Fine Art Gallery, located at 209 6th St NW (behind the Palace Theater) in downtown Canton, Ohio. We serve artists and students in Stark, Summit, Portage, and Tuscarawas counties. In addition. I have extensive experience in teaching art, conducted classes and workshops for Malone College, Kent State University, Canton City SD, Canton Local SD, Plain Local SD, Louisville SD, Lake Local SD, Northwest Local SD, Stark County MRDD, and the Diocese of Youngstown. Working in partnerships with schools and the Cleveland Museum of Art, I have created and published high content, engaging curriculum for educators across Ohio.
I am is passionate about furthering personal growth and education through the arts by developing programs for various academic learning, socioeconomic and cultural needs, for students of all ages. I work extensively to help people find their voice through art and firmly believe in the benefit that art brings to the community. My successful experience in designing individual and collaborative works of art, combined with a unique style and unending creativity undoubtedly empowers all who participate in my programs.
