About Karla
My passion is empowering students to express themselves freely using art as a tool. Art and creative expression have been powerful means to overcome obstacles in my personal life, and my objective as a teacher is to share these impactful benefits with every student.
I have been leading creative sessions for over ten years in both Mexico and the United States, teaching crafts, painting, and drawing to a variety of ages, with a focus on elementary age students. It is inspiring for me to see beeming young faces learn their artistic capabilities for the first time, so I am happy to teach art to the youngest of ages.
I have a certificate in public drawing from the school of professional art in Mexico City, along with a lifetime of drawing experience. I worked three years drawing professionally for "dibujarte" magazine in Mexico. I am happy to share my skills and experience with anyone!
