About Maria
Art is my passion not just a job. I support my students on every step until they achieve their goals. I started to teach art since 1999 in Mexico.
Art is my passion and is a wonderful way of making a living. I get excited with every project, each one is my way to tell a story about myself and my culture. The best part of being an art instructor is having interaction with creativity.
When people see my art pieces, they asked if I will be able to teach them. Then I decided to share my techniques.
I graduated from the Art Faculty and took private lessons with Mexican and Russian artists. I also got my SAT from MiraCosta College.

I teach my students basics techniques to achieve their goals, depending on the type of medium they want to work on. For example, I will explain which brand names are good for beginners and what brand names are better when they feel more confident.
I have been working with children from 3 to 14 years old. After a few time later with adults.
Last year 3 of my pieces were selected and display in The Reveal Virtual Exhibition at the Kruglak Gallery. One of my watercolor pieces was published in the Tidepools journal.

Details
I have a standard pricing for the lessons. I charge $100 dollars per 2 hours session, but if a student needs 1 hour I charge the half. When a student needs more than 2 hours session I just charge $ 20 dlls more if they are continously working with me.
