About Kim
The love of what I do and people I believe really shines through in my teaching style. I am able to adapt art concepts to cater to the individual regardless of style or level the student is at, even when I am teaching in a group. I have a passion for helping kids and adults find joy in thier medium and I believe in positvely encouraging artists. I have a BFA in Illustration an have been painting for over 15 years. I can teach drawing techniques, step by step paint classes, oil painting and acrylics. I am specialise in teaching portraits, still life and landscape. I have also done alot of creative projects with my kid artists that encourages imagination. I have been teaching for 3 years privately and for nebo school district.
I love meeting new students and helping them individually to thrive and gain aha moments in learning and creating art. Teaching is a passion of mine, I love how you have to think on your feet to communicate concepts and thoughts to my students originally and competantly.

Kims beginning oil painting class helped me by going back to the basics so I could have confidence to oil paint again.
My granddaughter and I took art lessons from Kimberly and we had the best time ever. She is so easy to understand and taught us both a lot. We love taking lessons from her and Loved learning so much more about oil painting. I highly recommend her. My Nephew's daughter is also taking art class from her and has shown marked improvement in her abilities and enjoys it a lot
