About Dennis
Inspiring children and adults to look at real-world shapes, lighting, and perspective carries beyond art creation.
Mr. Sweatt art instruction gives students tips and techniques to expose their undiscovered abilities. Not just drawing what they see but how the hand works with the brain.
Mastering shapes and transforming them into anatomy and still-life is a stepping stone most can do and confidence builds from a simplistic but necessary basis. Like a pyramid.
I have been teaching since 2000. Online and one on one. In the last five years, I have taught basic anatomy and how to draw comic books for Merced Multicultural Art Center and The Wild Rose art consignment house in Sonora, CA.
Currently, I am a teacher aid and art teacher in the after school program at Belleview Elementry in Sonora.
