About Jacqueline

I’m a gigging percussionist in the Austin and Bastrop areas with 18 years of experience on concert percussion instruments.

I hold a bachelors degree in music performance from Wittenberg University and perform regularly with the Austin Civic Orchestra and Austin Handbell Ensemble.

My teaching approach is to go beyond the written notes and teach both the unique intricacies of each instrument as well as the theory behind what we are playing.

Currently teaching beginner and intermediate concert percussion. I would love to guide you through the world of music!

About the lesson

Drum lessons offered by Jacqueline are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Austin. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
