About Camila
I am motivated by the progess I see in my students and watching them develop a passion for a subject that they once feared. I have been independently tutoring children from the ages of 5-10 years old for five years. I tutor English as a second language and helped students reach great success. I am a senior in college with a flexible schedule to meet client demands. I major in International Studies with minors in Global Engagement and French. I am proficient in French, Italian and Spanish. My post graduate plans involve immigration work with the Department of State.
I have almost completed my Bachelors in International Studies making me a qualified and competent analytical and professional writer. I have volunteer tutored for two years and been paid to tutor math and reading for one year.

I discuss with the student areas they struggle with and areas they enjoy. I like to get an idea for what type of learning works best for them by asking them questions about what has made their more challenging subjects enjoyable. I like to work on a mix of challenging and fun topics in any given session, if we make it through a more difficult activity then we can reward ourselves with a fun activity.
I have worked with students from the ages of 5-10 years old as well as high schoolers. I have worked with students who are learning English as their second language.
