About Tiffany
I never excelled by following a strict code of conduct for writing. True meaningful and powerful writing comes from allowing passion and expression to guide thr structure. Write first, fix grammatical mistakes/punctuation second.
Education: I have a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Advertising as well as a Master's Degree in Theology.
My educational background consisted of learning to write persuasive material and spot grammar mistakes immediately. I have plenty of background in proofreading and content writing.
Experience: I have experience as a:
1. Substitute Teacher: grades K-8
2. Digital Strategist: writing political content pieces and email marketing campaigns
3. Communications Assistant: proofing pieces for print and media
4. PR and Marketing Consultant: editing, creating and brainstorming content for a church's social media presence as well as creating an entire website for them

1. Get to know you! :)
2. Go over strengths/weaknesses in writing/English.
3. Dive into caseload for student - understand areas needing support.
4. Brainstorming best avenues to achieve desired result. (ie. learning better ways to start with attention grabbers, use higher quality sentence structure, more diverse vocabulary, etc.)
5. Start the process and edit/learn as we go! The best way to truly grasp a handle on English is to learn in the midst of action.
Ensure you are honest about your areas of weakness. Just like a counselor, a tutor needs to understand where you're in need of support and the trouble areas.
If you don't feel comfortable, speak up! There are so many tutors out there, find one that works with you and your needs.

Details
Introductory: FREE (get to know you, and your specific needs - I want everyone to feel comfortable before we set anything concrete on my schedule.)
30-minute scheduled session: $30 with no interruptions.
1-hour scheduled session: $55 with scheduled break at 30 minute mark.
**ANY proofreading and/or tutoring outside of the scheduled session will need to be discussed beforehand and will be a separate charge!
