About Mary Katherine
I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Assumption College and an M.Ed. In Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College. I come from a family of teachers and am entering my fifth year in the classroom. I have taught first grade, fourth grade, kindergarten, and am currently a K-5 English as a Second Languge in Boston. Learning is my passion and I think there is nothing better than experiencing someone gaining new knowledge and recognizing all they are capable of. With my experience across grade levels and as an ESL teacher I have strong knowledge of grade level academics and language development. In my classroom I am able to differentiate leaning to meet individual needs and lead my students to success. I am excited to collaborate and achieve this with you as well!
There is nothing I enjoy more than watching students make connections and realize all they are capable of. I love to make learning I refactored through exploration opportunities and the use of knowledge. We are all learners, so I also love learning from my students!
