About Roshni
I have the experience and passion to get students to not just memorize the material for the sake of a test but truly understand the material and develop a passion for the subject along the way!! Through my years of schooling and experience teaching, I have come to understand what it means to be a good, sincere, and effective teacher. I graduated from a competitive high school with both a high school and International Baccalaureate diploma and am now entering my last year at Boston University with a major in Biology specializing in Cellular, Molecular, and Genetics and a minor in Journalism on the pre-med track. My experience is as follows: I served as Editor-in-Chief of my high school newspaper and an associate editor for Boston University's independent student newspaper, a Learning Assistant for the BU course Systems Physiology in which I teach two labs every week, a Peer Health Educator that teaches health courses once a week at Boston public schools, and a math and science tutor at Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School. All of these experiences have added to my knowledge of writing, science, and math and my skillset as a teacher that will adapt to any learning styles!! I have developed a passion for teaching and would love any opportunity to do so!
