About Sanura
I graduated from Bowdoin College in May of 2020 with a degree in English and Theatre, with a specific concentration in African American literature. Throughout high school and college, I have worked alongside teachers in tutoring students on their writing assignments. In my tutoring sessions, I go out of my way to make the experience fresh and exciting by including dance breaks and pop culture references.

For me, learning the English language is simply about understanding the best ways to express oneself. So, I approach my sessions creatively and collaboratively. By doing this, the tutoring becomes a safe space where learning occurs organically.
