About Naomi
I believe that all children learn differently, and I modify my teaching style to match each student's needs. I tutor elementary-level English subjects, such as reading, writing, vocabulary, spelling, and grammar. I can provide homework help, study tools, and teach new material. I'm patient, accommodating, and reliable, and I love helping children learn and try new things!
I love working with children of all ages. I have many years of experience as a tutor, babysitter, and camp counselor. I have experience tutoring students with learning challenges and disabilities. Kids are so curious, and it's incredible to see their confidence grow as they learn and do things that may have been challenging in the past!

When working with new students, it's important to me that they feel comfortable and excited to learn. I'll ask a few "getting to know you" questions to learn about the student, see their personality, and determine the best approach to teaching them. I will adjust my teaching style to fit each child's needs because I believe every child learns differently. I'll find out from the student and their parents what their goals are for our time together, and I will work with the student to accomplish them.
