Writer/Director Duke Addleman brings a wealth of experience to your doorstep. As an award-winning writer/director and a credentialed English teacher, Duke brings the best of both the academic and art worlds to play for you. His script for the motion picture "The Boatman" is part of the Motion Picture Academy's Core Collection, and he's helped students of all ages succeed at everything from making presentations pop to writing confident SAT essays. I was still in college when I started helping people with their essays.
I have a Single Subject California Teaching Credential for English. My training includes coursework and certifications for students who are bilingual, gifted and talented, or emerging writers. Before filmmaking or teaching, I worked as co-chief editor (with Russell Harper) of medical copy for The Practice Builder. (Russell is presently chief editor of 'The Chicago Manual of Style'.)
