About Olivia
I recently just gradauted from the Academy of the Holy Angels, and am onto The Ohio State University in the fall. During my time at AHA, I was enrolled in High Honors English for the first three years, and then AP Literature for my senior year. I am extremely comfortable with assisting in Reading or English, whether that be practicing for the ACT, other standardized tests, or just summer work needed to be completed! I am most comfortable with assisting grades 3-9, but am willing to be flexible. I am looking for a consistent job, maybe 2-5 days a week (besides the few times I will be unavailable), until mid-August. Please let me know ASAP if you would like to get to know me better and see if this would be a good fit!

My typical process for working with a new student is asking them what techniques they are most comfortable with, whether that be reading out loud, silently, brainstorming, writing things down (annotating), etc! I want the student to feel comfortable in their abilities, and that I am simply there to guide them. The best way for a student to feel completely satisfied is feeling comfortable and not stressed, realizing that schoolwork should not cause immense stress!
