About Natalie
I am passionate about sharing my skills and knowledge with grammar, writing (professional and academic), literature, and especially college and job applications with students who want to be coached and achieve more than they knew possible. I can back this claim up with testimonials from many students who have applied my lessons to achieve competitive jobs, internships, scholarships and graduate school admissions.
I also am passionate about helping students of all income levels to ensure equity and access.
I love coaching individuals to achieve more than they thought possible in only a few weeks or months. I don't write for you: I show you how to master genres and conventions so you can carry the lessons forward.
I have a PhD in English, excel at editing ELL documents, and am a master teacher of grammar, style, and writing. I am a full professor of English with 15+ years' experience and have also worked as an editor, literary organizer, and personal assistant to internationally renowned writers.
PhD in English from #1 doctoral program; certificate from Columbia Publishing Program; 15 years experience teaching college English and professional writing: experience working as an editor for Barnes&Noble.com and as an assistant to a US and Nobel laureate; experience tutoring students with writing application essays and statements of purpose as well as resumes and cover letters.
