About KELLY
I provide individualized education and support to nursing staff, patients, and families on a daily basis! am a 32 year old Registered Nurse and mother to a very special 4 year old boy! I have been an RN for 7 years now and am currently and for the last 3 years the Director of Nursing of an elite, 5 Star Continuing Care Retirement Community. I worked 4 years as a CNA throughout nursing school and as a nurse gained experience in everything from tube feeds to traches, dialysis to post-op, and LVADs. I even worked as the supply manager and wound care nurse. I would love to help the new generation of healthcare workers be successful and build confidence in themselves prior to and throughout their clinicals and specialized programs. It's a scary and stressful time trying to pass classes in the program. I KNOW I've been through Nursing school!
I enjoy the comfort I'm able to bring my patients, families, and nursing staff in times of stress, frustration, sadness, and sometimes hopelessness. Knowledge and education brings peace of mind. Reminding people it's ok to not know something and to experience emotions and helping them work through it.
