About Sianna
I believe that tutors can play key roles in the learning and lives of students. Helping students achieve their potential, adapting to kids’ individual needs, building lasting relationships based on shared goals—these are a few reasons why I became a tutor. I see tutoring not just as a way to fill in the holes that are left at the end of the school day, but as infinitely fulfilling, important work that bridges worlds and builds a stronger future for children, one at a time.
Core Qualifications:
1. Strong interpersonal skills in working with students to help them achieve and succeed.
2. Adept at creating study materials in a variety of academic subjects to help students improve their test scores and GPAs.
3. I have participated in starting multiple after school programs for local low-income schools in my community. All of which have succeeded in helping students raise their grades an average of 30%.
I have three years of experience tutoring independently at Lee University to help incoming freshman and sophomore students improve their GPAs, and two years of experience at local after school programs in various schools (elemtary school- high school).

Prior to scheduling sessions, I like to meet with the students and/ or parent(s). We work hand in hand to build their specialized plan of action. Next, we will come up with a set of goals and how to implement the plan appropriately in order to accomplish said results.
