About Karen
Reading homework? HARD, English homework? HARD. My name is Karen, and I'm here to tell you that reading or english homework can actually be fun and exciting with my help! I enjoy students growing into a new way of learning how to study, do their homework, take notes and be indepedent! School work can be fun if both are brains are on the same page together! I've been tutoring for 3 years and I've seen progress i in both boys and girls of all ages. I'm a gradute student of Florida International Univeristy and here to help with all my knowledge.
I started teaching because I loved every min of it. I did my professional career based on it because I live and breathe to help children grow and become independent strong adults.
I'm a graduate student of FIU with a Bachelors degree in Education and Psychology. I have attended an internship with children from ages 8-17 with ADD and ADHD. I've down evaluations with clinicians with children and their parents to determine the next step.

Working with a new student can be challenging but not difficult. Let's get to know each other. Our favorite way of studying, doing our homework, favorite colors, snacks, break sessions and many more. The more we know about each other the better!
I've worked with students from grades K-5th grade. Also with children who have ADD and ADHD.
